adidas and Liverpool FC enter into long-term partnership
adidas and Liverpool Football Club today announced a multi-year partnership, with adidas becoming the club's official kit partner from the 2025-26 season.
From August 1, 2025, Liverpool Football Club members will wear adidas kit for the third time. adidas will provide matchwear, training wear and casual wear to all men's and women's teams, academy members, and staff of the Liverpool Football Club Foundation.
Previous collaborations between adidas and Liverpool have witnessed glorious moments in the club's history - from 1985 to 1996 and from 2006 to 2012, the club won numerous honors, including three domestic league titles and eleven domestic cup titles, and some of the jerseys of the year were also regarded as popular classics of that era.
The announcement of the partnership comes at a time of strong growth for the club, with the men’s team currently top of the domestic league table and having qualified for the Champions League knockout stages, while the women’s team has also firmly established itself in the top flight of the domestic league.
Bjørn Gulden, CEO of adidas, said: "We are very pleased that adidas can work with Liverpool FC again. Liverpool FC is one of the most influential and iconic clubs in world football with a huge fan base. We are honored to once again provide players with advanced technology to help them perform at a high level. The jerseys created during our previous cooperation are among the greatest works in football history. We look forward to recreating these classics and creating more exciting new products for fans."
Billy Hogan, CEO of Liverpool FC, said: "Everyone in the club is very excited to welcome adidas back to the Liverpool FC family. In the past, we have achieved brilliant achievements together and created some much-loved Liverpool jerseys. Now is a good time for us to work together again. We look forward to creating more iconic jerseys and continuing the success on the court to further consolidate the good memories between us."
The partnership further strengthens adidas’ existing relationship with a number of Liverpool FC players, including Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones, Darwin Núñez, Alexis Mac Allister, Diogo Jota, Luis Díaz, Ryan Gravenberch, Fuka Nagano, Mia Enderby and Jenna Clark.
Details of the first adidas Liverpool kits will be revealed on August 1, 2025.
