Manchester City 2025-26 home kit
2025-05-15
PUMA, the world's leading sports brand, today officially released the new home jersey of Manchester City Club for the 2025-26 season. For the first time in the club's history, the iconic ribbon design is incorporated into the home jersey. This diagonal stripe element, which has created a classic on the away jersey, now appears on the home jersey in a new look.
The new season's home jersey is based on Manchester City's iconic sky blue, with a new interpretation of the white ribbon design. This iconic element first appeared in Manchester City's away jersey design in the 1970s. At that time, legendary players such as Mike Summerbee, Colin Bell, Francis Lee and Tony Book had all worn this classic jersey to compete on the field. Today, this classic element appears on the home jersey for the first time, connecting the present and the past with a futuristic design, building an emotional bridge between new and old fans.

To celebrate this historic design, Manchester City and PUMA have jointly launched a creative short film. The short film was directed by the famous director Glenn Kitson and hosted by comedian John Thompson. Many Manchester City players, including Erling Haaland, Manuel Akanji, Oscar Bobb and Alex Greenwood, made surprise appearances. The short film was shot at the Clayton Official Fan Club next to the Etihad Stadium, interpreting the essence of football, community and the joy of life from the perspective of Manchester City fans. Marco
Mueller, senior director of PUMA's team sports product line, said: "We are very excited to incorporate the classic ribbon elements of the away jersey into the home jersey for the first time. Whether it is this jersey or the new product series, fans around the world will witness us and Manchester City Club continue to break the rules in design, creativity and innovation in the future."

Manchester City Club Ambassador Mike Summerby said: "The jersey carries the common memories of players and fans. The ribbon element has always been a beloved classic symbol, and I am very happy to see it return on the new home jersey. It is an honor to be able to participate in the shooting of this short film. I hope fans around the world can enjoy this video. I also hope that this jersey can bring more special memories to the club and fans."

The new Manchester City home jersey series includes a player version and a fan version. The player version is equipped with PUMA's cutting-edge technological fabric ULTRAWEAVE, which is significantly lighter and reduces friction. The fan version has the same eye-catching appearance and a looser version, which is the perfect choice for fans to watch the game and wear daily. Both use PUMA's dryCELL perspiration technology to keep the wearer dry and comfortable at all times.
In order to fulfill PUMA's commitment to sustainable development, the fan version is made using PUMA's innovative RE:FIBRE recycling process, which uses recycled textile waste to make new products without compromising quality. Clothing made with the RE:FIBRE process contains at least 95% recycled polyester materials, which is an important step towards a more circular and sustainable jersey production process.
In the Club World Cup in June this year, Manchester City's players will wear the new home jersey.
