Santos 2025 away jersey
2025-04-17
Santos FC celebrated its 113th anniversary on Monday (14th). To celebrate this special moment, the club teamed up with British football brand Umbro to launch a new away jersey for the 2025 season, reinterpreting the classic with modern graphics and aesthetics, further deepening the historical connection between the club and the current generation of fans from the 1990s to the early 21st century. The
traditional black and white striped design incorporates pixelated details, adding a modernist aesthetic to the classic jersey. The V-neck with yellow trim and the pixelated pattern with a checkered effect injects the jersey with a charm that coexists between retro and fashion.

Marcelo Teixeira, president of Santos, recalled the first period of cooperation between the club and Umbro from 1997 to 2011, and the renewed cooperation in 2018. He said: "The cooperation between the two sides has been fruitful and has brought great value to both the club and Umbro. In 2002 and 2004, Santos won the Brazilian Serie A championship; in 2011, the club won the Copa Libertadores for the third time in history. These results are a good sign for the new season and the release of the new jersey."
Teixeira also recalled that with the help of Umbro, Santos won the 2010 Brazilian Cup, which also ensured their qualification for the Copa Libertadores the following year.

The pixelated elements can be clearly seen throughout the main body of the new jersey and the black stripes, which also extend to the collar and cuffs. This unique visual style also appears on the inside and back of the collar of the jersey and the design of the player numbers.
"For the design of the new season's away jersey, we decided to combine classic elements of the past with modern technology. This jersey not only evokes the fans' pride in the glorious history of the 1990s and 2000s, but also combines a future-oriented design language to successfully resonate with fans of all generations. This is undoubtedly a jersey full of history and aura, as strong as Santos Club," commented Eduardo Dal Pogetto, Head of Umbro Brazil.
